FlyeBaby is the original portable, hammock-style, fabric seat creates a secure and comfortable place for your baby on an airplane and allows face-to-face interaction between you and your baby, making playing and feeding much easier.

This seat was carefully developed by a mum and grandfather with the safety and comfort of your child & the practicality of a parent in mind!

Features & Specifications:

  • Suitable for use up to 11kg (for both airplane and high chair use)
  • A maximum height line is marked (see below), if baby’ s head is above this line, baby will be too long to use Flyebaby for airplane use (ok for highchair use if within weight range). It is therefore the recommended age for Flyebaby for airplane use is 9 months or less (however also suitable for older babies below 11kg and not exceeding height limit)
  • Folds up for complete portability and will fit easily in a nappy bag or carry on.
  • can also be used as a convenient highchair at airports, restaurants, hotels or at home.
  • available in two tone great only (as pictured)
  • folds neatly back into the bag and can be kept in a nappy bag when not in use

  • Safely secures baby in 5 point harness during flight in the event of unexpected turbelence or loss of altitude

Allows 5 point harness restraint when used as a portable high chair

Other considerations

  • You should consider the temperament and mobility of your child, Flyebaby is best utilised by younger babies that are not yet very mobile.  Older more mobile babies may fit into Flyebaby but may only sit in it for several minutes before wanting to move.
  • Flyebaby is not an approved CRS (Child Restraint Device)
  • The Australian Civil Aviation Regulations 1998, Subregulation 251 (1) requires that, during take-off and landing and other specified times during flight, all occupants shall be restrained by at least a seat belt.  So during take-off, landing, taxiing, turbulence or other times as specified by the flight operator you will require you to take baby out of Flyebaby and place baby in the supplementary loop belt provided by the airline.
  • There is no Australian requirement in relation to restraints used during flight – using Flyebaby is no different than using a baby sling during flight.
  • Airline carriers and Aviation Safety bodies highly recommend the restraint of children as much as is reasonably practicable during flight – Flyebaby keeps baby more safely restrained and secure during flight (compared with seating baby on lap) in the event of unexpected turbulence or altitude loss.
